on to greener pastures
Fairytale characters with Guns A-blazing

My Sandman graphic novel obsession back in college forced me to stay home on Saturday nights so I can save some cash to buy Neil Gaiman’s masterpiece. Once more, DC has gotten me hooked and I might be seeing myself on that same road again.

I was introduced to Dum Dum Girls when I had to write a review about their opener, the Young Prisms. I have to say, from the moment the curtains opened, I started to dig their hair, sexy stockings and black threads but what made me pay more attention was their interesting, noise pop music with a bit of a Japanese vibe.

New Beginnings

Looking at my sister Karen, it’s pretty hard to believe that 5 years ago she stared death in the face not just once but 3 times. Not only did she survive but came out of her ordeal better than ever and now that she’s celebrating her 37th birthday and still looks as stunning, it just goes to show that age is really just a number… well, it also helps when you’re blessed with good genes and don’t look your age…

The Land Down Under

My Daniel Johns obsession during my college years made me want to set foot in Australia and now even after that phase of my life is over, my curiosity about the smallest continent in the world never faded. I’m happy that I got to know Oz even for just a little over two weeks. Checking out the famous places in and around Sydney and Melbourne definitely made me a happy camper.
